Connecting a CD 5 & HiCap...

...how's it done? There's no mention of it in Naim's connections manual.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Tim

SNAIC going in the CD5 output next to the one going to the pre-amp (second from the right, seen from el rear), with the marked end of the SNAIC towards the CD5.
The SNAIC goes in the right hand input of the Hi-Cap (seen from the butt end).
Tell us what you're hearing when you're done.

Hi Tim
Please do let us know how you get on compared to the flatcap 2, I currently have the flatcap and was wondering what to upgrade, next time I get the funds.
The flatcap or add another nap150 to bi-amp.

And The Results Are......really rather good. Didn't think it would make
much difference. Sound fills out a bit, is smoother, better bass weight and the midband is more 'filled in' -- noticeable on male vocals & piano. Nnnnice. The FlatCap2 sounds a little 'reedy' by comparison.
Kev -- can't say how it would compare to bi-amping with an extra 150, but a S/H HiCap (chrome bumper, of course

) would be a bargain in comparison.
Cheers,
Tim

Tim,
If you're getting good results after a day, just wait until it's warmed up properly. I think you might be surprised again....... hope so anyway.
