Black SNAIC?

Posted by: rowett on 22 October 2002

Hi,
Having recently started in the Naim world I've just noticed that my interconnect is grey and not black.
I've read on the Naim site that the black ones are new and improved.
So my questions are:
1) How much?
and
2) How much?

Oh and in case it matters I have:
CD5, NAIT 5, Arcaydis Concept 2, NACA5.

I think I paid about $120 for my black snaic. It's been a LONG time, so I've slept since then and am not sure of my memory...

But the benefits are, simply put, as more MUSIC coming through the system. Not a subtle thing, either. Whether real or imagined, I thought the improvement in sound was readily discernable...

Max is correct. CDP - Nait interconnects are grey.

Black snaics are for power supplies, and they are (like the resulting music) much bigger and fatter than the CDP interconnects. However they wouldn't be as expensive as Markus says, should you decide, at some future point, to get a *-Cap.

Enjoy

You don't need a SNAIC with a NAIT5.
