I love Sara K's singing ... kind of like a bluesy Joni Mitchell.

I actually met her over 20 years ago in the little town of Ruidoso, New Mexico, USA when I was on the road with my band at the time, Simon and Bard Group. She came to hear us, gave me a demo tape, and I was immediately impressed.

The album you mentioned was from over 10 years ago on the Chesky label, I believe, a label similar to Naim in its "live to stereo" recording approach. I wonder what she's up to these days?

All best,
Fred

Thanks for asking, Ken. I've been writing and preparing for a new Naim album, to be recorded later this year. Should be very exciting; more news as it happens.

All best,
Fred

I have heard quite a bit of her stuff and have a live album she did with Chris Jone RIP.

Where I have loved Chris Jone's music since I first heard it Sara K has always grated on me, I dont enjoy her music at all i'm afraid.
