If you like this band the new album is a no brainer. Melodic, dynamic and full of great hooks

Everyman and his cousin in the uk likes this band nowdays but I believe that they are operating at a much higher level thsn the vast majority of their stadium filling peers. All four of their albums are well worth having IMO.

How would you compare the new CD with the 3rd? I thought first two were incredible but #3 was a bit commercial. Seems like they lost their edge or sobered up?

I have really liked all four but I think their sound has changed and there are indeed moments on both of the more recent two that do feel more targeted for the mainstream. In addition I think that they have moved away from a southern rock thing to a more conventianl rock template. However the quality of the music on the latest wins me over.

I would have thought that you would find plenty to like if you love the first two. But then again i did like the third one as well!

All the cd's are very good.

We've been listening and enjoying their output for a few years now, and was glad to finally see them live at Glastonbury this year.

For me they rocked Glastonbury!

I like the new album, 5 or 6 stand out tracks. To be honest i rarely listed to their debut album, it's 2,3, and 4 for me.

Saw then a few years ago at Newcastle City HAll and have been a fan ever since.

Have the new CD on order so hopefully get it by the weekend. Sounds like I'll enjoy it.

The production sounds very poor to me - vinyl and CD. So bad I've only bought the single - couldn't listen to the whole album with the way it was produced (very muffled)
