Lexus Ad music

I must admit I usually go into rant mode when people ask, "What's that song on the latest xxxx advert?".

However..........Does anyone know what the music to the latest Lexus ad is (haunting male solo voice). I can't even work out whether its from a classical piece or not.

Hi! It was played on Radio Two the other day. As I remember, it is called 'Open Heart Surgery' by William Gretsch.

FWIW, I though it was really excellent. I haven't seen the advert or heard the music before. I thought it was something new from Radiohead to be honest. The instrumentation was very similar to a lot of the stuff off OK Computer.

Looks like it will be released at some time in the future. maybe it's time for a 'net search?...

Update: Song is 'Open Heart Zoo' by Martin Grech. Album of same name due this summer. Island records.

the track is called Open Heart Zoo by a largely unheard-of artist called Martin
Grech, who performs with Tim Elsenburg on Guitar, Al Hamer on Drums, Bish on
Bass and Pete Miles on Keys and Guitar. The album 'Open Heart Zoo' is due for
release n the summer of 2002 on Island Records in the UK and Interscope Records
in the US. One US reviewer of the album wrote: "album's like this come along once
in a decade and artists like Martin Grech once in a lifetime." The single 'Dali' is due
for release on Island Records in the UK on 10th June 2002.

The Lexus advert music I think is utter crap, probably one of the worst noises I've ever heard in myb life!!
