i saw old crow medicine show in glasgow last night
support was by dave rawlings & gillian welch, who,s band had john paul jones on mandolin & fiddle, 3 hours of the best bluegrass ever.

Not sure he'd be my first choice as mandolin and fiddle player , as I didn't know he played them. Unless it was another JPJ.
Was they any good, OCMS or the support?

YES IT WAS THAT JOHN PAUL JONES, I HAD SEEN BOTH BANDS BEFORE. I HAVE BEEN TO OVER 300 GIGS & LAST NIGHT WAS UP THERE WITH THE BEST, EXCEPT NEIL YOUNG IN ABERDEEN WHICH WAS BREATHTAKING
