Go easy on me, I'm no computer whizz...
Can I set up Outlook to recieve mail on several addresses? I have a work address and would like to get this at home as well as my home ISP stuff. Can it be done? How about when I send a message, how on earth would I know which address it was sending 'from'?

Hi Bruce.
Regarding your work address this can be difficult depending on the measures set up. Usually the works will have its own internal server so getting to them emails cn be a pain. Usually you have a web based access to do so.
IN terms of adding new addys to your outlooks thats easy. You want to select 'tools' I beleieve from one of the menus and in there is your current default email, and you will find there is a way to add another.
I tneeds to following details.
Email address
Out going server (*Starts SMTP usually)
Incoming server (Starts POP usually)
Password.
Some emails require authentication which may just be your password .
I have three yahoo addresses a .Mac one and gMail as well, most email apps can take multiple accounts.
You might want to speak with who ever does IT at work regards getting to your work email.

Your work e-mail should be available on nhs.net, with the PCT as administrator. The nhs.net system works fine as it can be incorporated in Outlook ( I let the IT man from the PCT do it) and accessed from anywhere else via the web. If you don't have an nhs.net e-mail account, ask the PCT for one.

Thanks both.
Rockingdoc. Asking the PCT for IT help sounds like searching for fool's gold but I'll have a go.

Bruce, outlook can certainly be configured to open several mailboxes concurrently. In order to send from a specific address, there is a FROM: line that can be enabled as part of the email header.
Hope this helps, cheers Pete

I have Outlook configured with 4 mailboxes. Each is added via Tools->e-Mail Accounts->Add a new account. You will need to know the login details for each mailbox.
One of your mailboxes will be setup as the default outgoing account. However, to send from another account select an alternative from the 'Accounts' pull-down menu in the email window which pops up when you create a new email or reply to one.
I hope this helps.
Graham.
