Back to the heavy roots

Today I wanted to move my LPs to a new shelf and remove the dust. Well, I ended up playing a lot albums which I heard endlessly when I was young, but haven´t touched for quite some time. Together with the clock, the volume pot turned more and more clockwise... after some time, my 14 year old neighbour rang asking about the noise coming out of my window... so I introduced him to the interresting history of heavy metal... I suppose he´s considering me kind of insane now, but it was a lot of fun
Some of the albums heard:
So, a broad spectrum of NWoBHM, German Heavy, Speedmetal to Prog, even found some black and white metal. Most of those LPs are really no audiophile jewels, but it´s amazing how they can sound on a good modern set... and they still beat the vast majority of the current charts.
If you have a similar history, I encourage you to do some digging in your record collection
