I SEE TOM RUSSELL (WITH GUITARIST ANDREW HARDIN) IS ON TOUR IN THE U.K. NOW...ANYBODY HAD A CHANCE TO SEE THIS MAGNIFICENT SONGWRITER/MUSICIAN PER CHANCE?? I'VE SEEN HIM BEFORE (DOUBLE BILL WITH JOHN PRINE IF YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT) AND HE IS JUST AS GOOD IN PERSON AS HIS ALBUMS ARE...

They don't call me "Headwound Sammy" for nuttin'...HUH??

I saw him several years ago here in the USA (Salt Lake City). A truely great show! If songs that tell a story are your bag he is hard to beat. I am sure you will enjoy the show. It seems like John Prine is allways with the Cow boy Junkies when he is my area, and they just do not do it for me.
