Dedicated path - but where to start it?

There were two big improvements in my audio system.
1. The first idea came from Naim Audio, they suggested 10mm2 cable for dedicated path. The real improvement came when I got some BASEC type T&E, it had better material and much better inner structure than the ones available in Hungary. I built a multiple path (one for each of the CD, Pre, and Power) but I’ve never been really convinced it‘s better than a single path with some Hydra etc. The dedicated path begins at my door, at the mains meter/PCBs. Preceding this there were some 12m conventional 16mm2 wiring of the block (leading from the house entrance’s 63A PCBs to the second floor where I live).
2. The second idea came from others: they suggested to continue the dedicated path downwards to the house entrance by laying 25mm2 cables (British type but not composite T&E). The improvement, again, was considerable - or even more. Its most remarkable result is that now I’m absolutely convinced on the superiority of the multiple path. No doubt any more. Now they have all the energy they need to work with.
Common sense can cheat you any time but in this special case it seems true: the broader the drive-way the better you can drive and with increased speed.
