Fishfinger sandwich

Posted by: Chillkram on 18 January 2009

Today I had a fishfinger sandwich for lunch which is something I hadn't had for years and I had forgotten how much I enjoyed them when I was a kid.

What childish or junk type foods do you still enjoy that perhaps you shouldn't?

Anyone like Pot Noodle or Spam?

Very posh.

I'm seriously craving a fried egg sandwich after reading this thread. Thin white bread, ketchup, freshly ground black pepper and sea salt, washed down with an ice cold glass of fresh orange juice.

A good one I used to have when I was little is cornish ice cream with a microwaved/mashed up jaffa cake - ew - I think Mcdonald's may even have stolen my idea for one of their McFlurry things a while ago.

That must have been some time ago Bob. Even I can remember chemists selling other things as well!

Ohhh I'dforgotten crisp sandwiches.

As a kid we would sometimes have sugar sandwiches, or tomato ketchup sandwiches.

Oh the joys of a balanced diet - and I still have all my own teeth....

My grandmother used to serve us such delights as dripping on toast and yesterday's yorkshire pudding with jam - lovely!

I prefer my local Greek vendor who sells nice 5 litre tins - enough to drizzle on anything that takes my fancy Roll Eyes
