HDX and Apple's Time Capsule 2T

Does anybody have any issues with HDX and Apple's TC? I bought one and my HDX does not see it in Manage/Refresh Network shares?

I don't have a HDX but I do have a 2TB Time Capsule....
My PC struggles with the TC and can't find it in the network but will find it when I go through DB Poweramp or Foobar.
Perhaps the HDX has the same isues as a PC?
My Mac finds it no problem.....
I'd suggest hooking up a NAS to your router instead.....

Log onto the time capsule using apples airport utility. Somewhen in the manual settings is an option to turn on SAMBA (SMB) do this and it should appear under workgroup by default.
To be fair the capsule was not really designed to be used this way and as the last poster said you would be better off with a proper nas.

I Have a HDX and a 1TB time capsule, the HDX can see my share folder fine, I do not use it for the HDX but had to resort to using the work pc to go into the naim client and stop the HDX looking at the time cap, very frustrating when you do a share refresh, it kept popping back, even more frustrating that naim have not released the full software for macs.
TC was set up as standard out the box and my TC acts as a hub for my NAS HDX (wired) and my wireless network.
Under the airport utility, a 2finger click to enter manual setup, and under the disk tab, there is a setting for file sharing and the associated windows file sharing below. this is enabled on mine.
hope this helps

You should be able to set the HDX to not include the TimeCapsule in its music collection from the front panel under "Manage Shares" - it will always "see" it if it's a SAMBA share but you can tell it not to scan it from the front panel.
You should be able to do *EVERYTHING* that you can do on Desktop Client (other than update cover art) from the front panel or web interface (and hence from a Mac)...

...although it is handy to selectively ignore Host or Share from the Desktop Client.
With regard to the original post–there are two issues which preclude the Time Capsule from a slam-dunk recommendation:
As always, we recommend that the Naim NAS Simulation Tool be used by you or your retailer to qualify the drive array's performance–more info can be found here:

- Energy-saving sleep mode

I think PSW has clarified, I do not have one so cannot check!
