The Late Junction crew have unleashed a series of CD's on the unsuspecting public. The music should be eclectic and marvellous like the Radio Show (it should even include a sprinkling of "suicide" music so beloved by Matthew Robinson, Tim Oldridge and Jawed). I have not had the opportunity to buy any of these yet - have any of you?

I bought the Max Richter album "Memoryhouse" after hearing his arrangements on the FSOL "The Isness" CD and reading some reviews.
It's lovely - variations on a single theme by different combinations of instruments in a style (for me anyway) influenced by Philip Glass meeting Michael Nyman up a somewhat ethereal alley. Wonderfully atmospheric (and not at all like the stuff on the FSOL CD...)
This week, I've heard odd bits of their Nordic compilation and am slightly tempted even though I'm not fond of compilations (sometimes they can be too eclectic), and then again I've already grabbed the Kimmo Pohjonen CD after the plug from Nigel.
BTW the BBC shop is cheap and speedy for these things.
