Naim Leasing

Hows this for a recession busting idea,

Given the level of upgrade-itis that seems to exist within Naim owners, and the fact that second-hand Naim kit seems to hold it's value and resell well, and a looming recession, is there an opportunity for a "leasing programme" or an option to upgrade/ keep the kit after 2 years, ie you get 70% of the value if you upgrade to a product x% more expensive. This would also create a very nice pool of pre-loved Naim kit for the less fortunate amongst us
Given the current worsening financial situation this at least would ensure money flowed in and new product flowed outof the comapny.
Any comments, apart from "what a dumb idea"

By the way if anyone at Naim takes this up, I would settle for an HDX as my business consultant fee

Times have moved on Barrie, it's all TCO now - Total Cost of Ownership. Got to factor in the cost of all the CDs, LPs, downloads and DVDs during the lease period too.

And if anyone at Naim takes this up, I would realistically settle for a Naim Label CD and half a packet of mini sausage rolls from their kitchen.

Sounds like a great idea to get more Naim kit out there.

After 2 years either:-
1. Give it back
2. Buy it
3. Trade up

As long as the leasee
1. Has any repairs etc. done by Naim
2. Has Naim approved insurance to cover theft or damage
