Been a big fan of Matisyahu for quite some time. He's a great reggae singer, although he has an irritating habit of slipping into a faux Jamaican accent at times. His backing band - roots tonic are great - sort of reggae with a Canterbury twist - on the guitar solos anyway.
Live at Stubbs is an amazing album. Youth is a bit patchy but the dub album is great. The standard dub has only 6 tracks but there is a limited edition with 10 tracks - worth searching for. Roots Tonic also did a reasonable album with Bill Laswell.
Matisyahu has done some fairly dodgy covers lately - police stuff mainly. He may have lost it - hope not because he was amazing
