Shielded speakers.

A, ahem, friend of mine is wondering if there are any decent floor standing speakers that are magnetically shielded, work well up against the wall, do the naim 'thing' and cost around £1200. I, oops, my friend currently has intros.

Perhaps your 'friend' might want to try Linn Ninkas. Not sure about them quite matching your Naim 'thing' criteria but the Linnies seem to think they are one of the best speakers Linn has ever made.

Worth a try, if only because they are £1k magnetically shielded floorstanders (3 out of 4 aint bad).
