inside track property seminars

Anyone here been to an 'inside track' property seminar?
My friend has just been to one & is quite impressed. Anyone 'made a million' from their seminar, or got anything negative to say about them?
Matt.

Is this one of those "how to leverage your equity" courses? They're very popular here at the moment as we have an excited property market.
There will be lots of people leveraging themselves into investment property - and then liquidating at bargain prices when the interest rates rise...

Not quite Dean,
Its a company that does seminars to teach people the way to buy & sell properties to build a portfolio, including info such as how to raise money to buy property, where to buy, setting goals, etc.
I'm a bit of a cynic by nature, but from what my mate has said, it mat be interesting.
Any other opinions?

Hi again Dean,
Re-reading your post (excuse my rioja consumption) it seems my cynicism is matched by yours. These seminars may well be a variation of what you describe. Speculation on interest rate rises is one of the main points, I guess. But there have been doom-sayers about this (in the UK anyway) for quite some time, & still property prices continue to rise, in the long term.

Run a mile! I think these people might have something negative to say about them. (read the Costa catastrophe article, I can't seem to get it to link directly)

Someone asked the same question some while ago

If this information is any good, why aren't they out there doing it, keeping it quiet and trousering all the money themselves rather than 'sharing' the knowledge?
Or is the secret of making millions from property not property itself, but selling these 'secrets' to gullible others?

Thanks for the info Guys.
A mate of mine has just been to the initial seminar, & has provisionallybooked in for the 2 day £2.5k course. He's got a 'bring a friend along for free' deal, & asked me if I'm interested (my wife & I often discuss going into the property game with him) in going with him.
None of us are overly gullible, & I in particular have a reputation for being overly cynical. I've been to time share talks & walked away without committing, maybe the same attitude is needed here.
Its good to have a place such as this to get neutral info.
Thanks,
Matt.

...And walked away.
A good sign.
Anyway, we decided to walk away from this as well, so thanks for the input.
