Hi Brucie
A few lunch time ramblings.
Difficult call on Still due to the release of the box set "Heart and Soul".
On Still you get some unreleased tracks and (what is probably more interesting) a recording of the May 1980 gig at Brimingham Uni. The performance is not (IMHO) great but it as their last gig it does have some historical interest.
If you are only interested in the studio work and you can find the box set at a decent price I would go for that and get a better live CD.

The Complete BBC Sessionsis an essential purchase, as is the Amsterdam Paradiso gig (soundboard quality recording, widely available on semi-legal CD).
There are scores of boots, official and semi-oficial live albums out there, which need to be approached with caution. Heart & Soul is a good purchase but will duplicate some of the material you already have.
Also, you can download scores of gigs free of charge from www.dimeadozen.org (you'll need Bit Torrent software such as Azureus). Quality generally isn't great, not surprising given the fact that they are between 29 and 27 years old...
Good luck!

and yes you should get 'Still'. It is one cool intense record. Bought it on the day it came out, 17th of October 1981.

Nice big reissue programme later this year. May be worth waiting for remasters etc.

Many thanks for all the inputs. It's so great to tap into the Naim/music collective.
