n-Vi trouble again....

Posted by: Jonas Olofsson on 30 January 2010

I have already sent my n-Vi for reparation one time when it suddenly refused to play cd:s.

So, this time when Im going to connect it to my Pioneer Plasma, the picture is awful.

You can see lines in the picture and its very dark. When trying to go inte the menu, the picture actually gets so dark that I cant see the menu.

Beeing far from an expert in video installation business its could be me doing some wrong thing or havent understod correctly what do to, or the n-Vi is to blame again.

If any of you have any suggestions for how to install the n-Vi I would be very greatful.

Jonas,

how are you connected to your screen - Component or DVI?

Sound like you need to change a setting. I had a similar issue and it turned out to be just that. Hopefully AV@Naim can advise you on this on Monday. Or send a Mail to Naim.

Hi Richard, long time no see.

I tried both component and hdmi but same result. I dont really understand where to adjust it but I will reread all manuals one more time before I send the n-Vi.

Jonas,

If I can recall correctly it's an offset issue that needs a setting changed within the service menu. Give Steve Hopkins at Naim a call on Monday.
