Du Pré - Elgar Cello Concert

Posted by: andrea on 21 October 2009

Hallo every one.
I'm back to the Forum, to ask an advice.
I’ve seen there are so many versions of this famous concert, I mean issues.
I’m interested in Du Pré, Barbirolli, Elgar Cello Concert.
I guess it is not available on vinyl anymore.
But, even on cd, I noticed there are many different issues . . . could anybody advise on which one would be convenient to get, as for Hi-Fi quality?
Many thanks
and kind regard to all
Andrea

I think this is the place. Maybe Abraxas was the record label I noticed.

Thanks madasa ( . . . your nick makes me thinking of India . . ) it is the kind of shop one has to visit phisically . . . their website is very poor . . .
but thanks anyway.
I'll keep it in mind should I go there.
I'm quite busy, if not with job, then with family . . I'm always falling behind something
We seem to share the same taste about music . . nothing like the 60s right?
Kind regards
Andrea
