5-0, 5-0, it's off to work I go !

Can't wait for work tomorrow !
Na, na, na, na, nah - we're lovin' it !
(Transation for anyone outside of Glasgow : Cetlic got shafted 5:0 in the Champion's League 2nd round qualifier by a pub team from Slovakia who are 9th in their domestic league)

But we Rangers fans have to take our enjoyment from whatever source.
So, that means that, if our team wins, the joy can be compounded by the "other" team losing. Of course, this can work the other way round as well - and has done rather too much over the last few years.

A large bang from the east end of Glasgow last night as the derelict remains of the abandoned MON hulk crashed to earth.
And we're all crying our eyes out about it.

I read that the odds on GS being the first Scottish Premier manager to be sacked have gone from 16-1 to 5-1 in the last 24 hours.

My rational side tells me that we need as many Scottish teams competing well at all levels.
However after seeing and hearing the tims' behaviour after a small revival (3 out of 5 titles is good but it came after a large cash injection, and coincided with Rangers' financial folly catching up with them) I just want them to get totally pumped whatever they do. Sorry.
High fives all round.

Yes, but one woeful Irish team might give a chance to other Scottish teams in the SPL.

Sigh. I know I shouldn't respond, but...
Huns having fun - always a peculiarly joyless affair. What strange people you are.

VIRUS ALERT - Beware of a few computer viruses doing the rounds at the moment
The Celtic Virus.
This is where your PC thinks its far superior than any other PC and develops a memory disorder, forgetting anything that happened before 2000.
The Beattie Virus.
This affects newer PC's mainly. The computer looks great, all the lights are on, but nothing works.
The Balde Virus.
This one is particularly nasty and will throw you out of Windows.
The Lennon Virus.
The Computer slows down dramatically and can't move any work forward.
The Marshall Virus.
This one's not particularly harmful - but you just can't save anything.
The Varga Virus.
Just when you think things can't get any worse, this one pops up and causes a calamitous error.
The McGeady Virus.
The computer develops a processor problem, whereby it thinks it's better than it actually is. It also experiences dramatic fluctuation in performance.
The Hartson Virus.
This is a particularly ugly one.
The Camara Virus.
Will dramatically increase the speed of your machine but will make the computer unable to carry out the simplest of processes.
The Petrov Virus
Your Computer will go down before you even touch it.
The Strachan Virus
Your computer will seem to be working absolutely brilliantly then all of a sudden performance takes a nosedive and the computer chucks it due to the processor needing a break.

Awfully bad luck tonight Celtic.
Aye right. Out to a Scottish First Division standard team. And is Neil Lennon going to be villified in the same way as Alex Rae last season? Is video evidence going to be presented? I think we know the answer to that.

PS : Can't wait for work tomorrow........ again.
PPS : 72 days since May 22 2005 - what a glory period !

Of course it is Jon. Do you think Liverpool fans wish Everton well this year? DTF.
In this case though Celtic fans have elevated themselves to virtual sainthood by building imaginary links with umpteen clubs throughout Europe who frankly couldn't give a toss about them. Did you know 100000 (and counting) fans went to Seville a couple of years ago? On top of this, fans who regularly sing songs about the IRA still have the nerve to preach to Rangers fans about bigotry. When Celtic lose it's always somebody else's fault - referee, linesman, UEFA, SFA, etc. They never lose by fair means.
They've also created this mythology about their recent success (champions once in the last three years!) and have a completely unreal view of their recent European performances. And as a Rangers fan I'm well aware of European reality.
Every club has its nutters following them - Rangers, Celtic, Arsenal, Manchester United etc. The trouble is that Celtic fans don't admit it. Until they do we're stuck with a problem.
All in all this is why I'm taking great delight in giving them a wholehearted GIRFUY!!!

Thanks for the background Tom - clearly no love lost there!
Well...this is still a local football rivalry - I imagine next time Rangers are in the shits the Celtic fans (good and bad elements all) will be gloating in unison!
Cheers,
Jon

You're right Jon and I fully expect it from them. That sort of banter is part and parcel of the game. No problems there.
What I'm not going to put up with is the holier than thou, greatest fans in the world, everybody loves us, no bigots here attitude coming from them. Sheer stomach churning hypocrisy I'm afraid.

I concur - it'll come in spades. No doubt about that !
At least now GS (aka Chesney) will have a clean season to show us all what he can do.......
