I missed the 5-0 game but managed to see the 4-0 one and Artmedia Bratislava did not look a good side at all. What Gordon Strachan was thinking buying all those strikers when he doesn't have a defence is beyond me.

Not that my team (Rangers) is much better however if we do scrape into the Champions League then we'll be better off by a couple of million because of Celtic going out.

Didn't see the game. It sounded like the performance was up and down but overall a reasonable victory, and for once just what you'd expect given the relative status of the teams. First goal was a nice bit of opportunism from Nacho and the second was nicely worked with a lovely finish from Ricksen. Their goal was a shocking example of the amateurish defending which will get us slaughtered in the Champions League itself.

However let's award ourselves another GIRFUY for all those wishing to see us pumped.

These days a 2-1 away victory in Europe has got to be a decent result, no matter what the opposition (as proved by Celtic's recent encounters).

You're right Steve. If you win this sort of tie it's no more than you'd expect. Lose and you're an embarrassment. Hiding to nothing.
2-1 away from home is a fine achievement and vastly preferable to getting pumped by a bunch of part timers.
