Nait 5 malfunction

For those who have a Nait 5, when the volume is turned down, do you still hear a buzz through the speakers? My Nait 5 makes a buzz noise, which I apprehend to be a bit more pronounced than is ussual with Naim.
When I use the nait 5 as a pre-amp only (with a 150) the buzz goes away. But if I have the amplifier of the Nait 5 in circuit, it comes back. What gives?

ps. the flexibility of the Nait 5 is really quite nice. I particularly like the fact that when used as a pre-amp only, it takes NO power from its own PSU. THAT's attention to detail.

I've the same problem and asked my dealer. It's got to do with the 'unclean' electrial supply.
I was advised to do as NAIMGAIM suggested. However, I'm resticted due to the room's layout - guess I'll just have to live with it.
