Any other fans out there?

Received 'Courier' in the post today. Beautiful live album. 'Somewhere Near Patterson' is great as well.

Thanks to Neil of Fish Records for supplying great music and the personal touch.

I heard a cd of his in a record shop about a year ago, and liked the track, but didn't catch the name. Did pick him up on a bob harris compilation cd singing "you stay here" which I can't say i liked much, too many violins. Is this typical of his work and is he solo on his live album?

is pretty representative of Mr Shindell's work. 'Courier' is a group effort, featuring beautiful harmony vocals by Lucy Kaplansky. He appears on her records as well.

I love the way he uses words and rhymes, with a distinctive slightly nasal delivery.

A cross between folk and country I guess?

That's good enough for me. I will put it on the list.
