Fred Simon - SINCE FOREVER - McCandless, Rodby, Walker

The subject header says it in a nutshell.
In more than a nutshell, I'm thrilled to tell you all that my new album, SINCE FOREVER, is finally available. It features ten new songs of mine, a new version of an old song, and one cover, In A Silent Way, a tribute to its composer, Joe Zawinul. The title track is an anthem for the great musician and humanist, a true hero, Pete Seeger, whose life has been testimony to the power of song.
I'm one of the luckiest composers around to have musicians like Paul McCandless (woodwinds/Oregon), Steve Rodby (acoustic bass/Pat Metheny Group), and Mark Walker (drums/Oregon) bring my music to life, and I can only begin to fully express my gratitude.
In addition, Steve's contributions before, during, and after recording have made this album stronger in so many ways. His editing is natural, musical, and seamless, like that of the greatest film and literary editors, and his dedication and passion are limitless.
I'm also grateful to The Naim Label for giving me this fantastic opportunity and support.
SINCE FOREVER was produced by me and Steve Rodby. It was recorded by Ken Christianson, essentially direct to stereo, 24 bit 96kHz digital, on September 2nd and 3rd, 2008 at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall.
The album is available in CD format, or as a download (mp3, CD quality, or high definition), here:

It's also available at ProMusicaAudio.com, and at other fine music stores in your computer and on your street.
Aficionados of wax should let The Naim Label (naimlabel.com) know you'd prefer to get SINCE FOREVER on double 180gm vinyl ... if they get enough requests they'll print some up. (You can even weigh in on the 'Since Forever on vinyl' thread in this forum.)
I've always felt guilty choosing favorites among my albums, and, frankly, every album is my favorite when it's new. But I'm really proud of this new one, and feel that it's some of the best music I've ever made, due in no small part to Paul, Steve, and Mark. I can't wait for everyone to hear it ... hope you dig it as much as I do.
All the best,
Fred
