Naim Fraim is beautiful

Posted by: Arye_Gur on 26 July 2001

I saw it yesterday night - and the look is impresive.
Can't say more because the system on it had a technical problem.
The price of 6 shelves is like the price of a 72
(when it was on the market), somehow when I saw it, the price seems to be quite logical (but don't worry, I'm not going to buy one...).

So?

Give me the same money and I'll find you something much more beautiful.

But so is the sound! I have been playing so much music, lots of fun! a whole experience. The looks/style if you like it are just a bonus.

So are you on a sun-drenched island or not?

I got my CDS2 yesterday and:

Omer,
Thanks for the remark.
Hundreds of members mailed me - that they wish to visit to Haifa and I didn't understand why.

How are the new speakers you bought ?

Alex,
We'd discussed here a lot about the importance of the look of the equipment when the new 5 seria arrived.
To my eyes, the Fraim is an example for a beatifully made product that "shouts" - "here is a hi class product".

arye_gur,

i agree 100%, the fraim looks great!!! till i can afford it, i think i might settle for QS ref for a while --- my dealer thinks this is rather special. i am not sure i will have time to audition.

when are you taking the plunge on the fraim?? by the way, are you still using mana??

enjoy

Ken,

I don't know how great is the sonic value of a rack, (I use QS) so when I have the money (and it will not be too soon...) I'll check the point.

I don't use Mana, Omer let me check his refernce shelf.
But after a specific behaviour of Mana owner (the factory owner) in Mana site, I will never use a producet of him.
I like to think that the pople I'm dealing with are first of all human beeing.

i give you 5 stars for using QS. is this the std or are you already Referenced? i may be auditioning my racks soon -- i have a real mixture right now, and i want to rationalise. if i could afford the fraim -- the choice would be automatic, as i am one of those that someone referred to as a "sheep" -- i almost always buy naim. but looks like i may be rationalising on QS References -- and that will be me done for a long time (famous last words).

oh dear!!! what happened???

enjoy nevertheless...

I bought it s/h quite cheap.
I have also two very cheap racks that support
the lp12, a video and a dvd player on one, and the napsc, the 140 and the Hi on the second.
These two very cheap stands are doing the job vey well too.
The QS supports the CDI, 102, Nat03, Akai gx7.
