Anybody any experience with this Dac that is based on Weiss technologies? My dealer claims it to be superior to the Weiss Dac was well as a Klimax DS if set up properly (fed by a Mac via Firewire, using Amarra on the Mac).

Where is the Weiss link ? - there is no firewire (USB / SPDIF) and it's a 16bit NOS conveter (and a tube output stage). Am i missing something ?

Georg - appologies i didn't see the Reference version on the WLM website. Looks like the standard Weiss DICE implementation (as per the INT202) is in the box via an OEM board. Show me an internal shot and we'll be able to tell if its just a Weiss DAC2 in a pretty dress Big Grin

And it is cheaper than a Weiss 202...

Sorry, no internal shots available here.
