kabers or bricks

hello guys,
wondered if you guys could assist AGAIN. a good friend has given me the funds to go buy 2nd hand kit. he loves the naim sound and often pops in to listen to my system. cdx-82-180-hicap-pmc ob1,s.anyway i was thinking of cd5 OR new cd5i. 200. 202. possibly hi-cap depending on funds. the speakers are a problem. he liked the sound of a pair of linn kieldihs i used to have ,so i was wondering if a pair of kabers would do the trick.?? maybe isobariks.?? which im affraid dont know too much. any suggestions / opinions would be hugely appreciated.
regards, scottyhammer.

You really need to listen to speakers in your system before deciding

Isobariks have a very distinctive sound, and they also need quite a lot of muscle to drive/control them properly.....I would suggest a 250 as a minimum

Scotty, you must have a really good friend there to stump up the money!

Kabers are like big Keilidhs, so would be a safe option if the sound pleases (I have both), but like the man says, try before you buy.
