Another thread prompted me to give this a spin. I'm beginning to like it, I think.

'A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers' a song that I completely misunderstood the name of when I first heard it.
Not a song about the place being overrun by men in souwesters and beards, but that which plagues the minds of lonely and isolated people.

No-Man: Schoolyard Ghosts
First play of the CD and this just oozes class. The musical partnership between Steven Wilson & Tim Bowness works so well. For all you fans of melancholy, this is just right for quiet time/late night listening. The quality of the CD packaging, designed & photographed by Carl Glover immediately raises expectations that the music will be good. I expect repeated listening will rank this no-man release as their best yet. I can't wait for the (£46) slab of vinyl to be delivered from tonefloat. If Stephen Bennett reads this; can you say if it was your mellotron used in the recording?

I've only got it on CD![]()
Mathilde, Montague Terace, My Death (cheery album), but very very good nonetheless.
