"Get Happy" Claire Teal. A beautiful album, recommended to me by Graham Russell. Thanks Graham!

Something to get the day going. LiveHereNow are making some interesting live releases with quite a varied group of bands.

This is much better than I thought it would be. I did not realise it had some vocals on it as well. I thought it would be all instrumental.

Wonderful album.

If you do not yet have them, the first two of his albums are equally good (Changing Places and The Ground). They make a truly great modern jazz trilogy.

What will be interesting will be to see what move he makes next - more of the same or a change in direction?

Nigel: Solo ? Must have it. Saw Marilyn (trio) in NYC, last Feb, and was very pleased. Thanks for pointing me to it.

cheers

I liked the Crispell on first play quite a lot. Much better than some of the other ECM CD's I bought last week.
