Did you enjoy them??! I confess I haven't listened to the LP for ages but it made me smile big time when I played it. Not least as 'Bear Up Bison' (one of the tracks on the LP) was the advice I used to give to a depressed friend many years ago!

They were fine and throwaway. Never noticed that much. I was to busy 'twisting' about Kurt Cobain trashing a guitar ala Pete Townsend and me thinking it was so passe

From the 70s I would recommend 'Encore' the 1977 live album from the US tour, but I am sure others would add other albums. 'Richochet' also from 1975 is very popular.
Also from 1975 there is the concert from 'The Royal Albert' hall on the 'The Bootleg Box 1' (official release), but a live boxset is a big investement for a second album by a band.
Their early 1980s albums, 'Exit', 'White Eagle', and the two live albums 'Logos', and 'Poland' also represent a very god period, but with different sounds as digital synths developed.
I started a thread for Tangerine Dream:
http://forums.naim-audio.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/38019385/m/1612912417
which has quite a few favourite albums by people listed, and also the bands they have influenced.
Try a few samples on Amazon, or their official website's player.
Hope that helps direct you in the right direction.

Nine Inch Nails 'The Slip'
New free album, thanks to Nap-ster for pointing it out on the forum.
Sounds pretty good, better than 'Year Zero' and 'With Teeth' I think on first hearing.
still waiting for 'Ghosts I-IV' to arrive in the post, although I have the Flacs of that too.
I wonder if Nine Inch Nails now regard live ticket sales and T-shirts etc. as their form of income, and feel album sales are problematic these days with so much illegal copying going on? Especially after reading the DemonBaby blog a few moths ago (their graphic designer's webpage).

Can't find a picture, but...
Joachim Kühn (+Harry Beckett, Jerry Bergonzi (!), J.F. Jenny Clark) on a 1991 recording: Sometime Ago.

amongst my top-30.
If you've read the Edouard thread (German, Dutch, French gathering...) and it left you frustrated with a nice "I will never be able to reach that level" feeling, put on THIS music. It will let your system shine like a diamond. For a handfull of dollars ? Not a bad deal, methinks...
cheers
