BTW: The Cryspell Solo CD develops, nicely. Jarrett'esque at times, w/o the too intellectual touch.

Miles Smiles....you scare me. If we ever agreed to trade recordings there would be nothing to trade. For me seeing your postings it's like listing my own record collection with a few small adjustments..... Zarathustra and Schehrezade for example. I have both those recordings but on Vinyl.

Just got the Fratellis on "Later". Really have enjoyed their set. Plant and Krauss were excellent too. I don't get Spiritualised though - you can't disguise weak tunes with a string quarter and a similar number pf back-up singers.

a string quartet even, easy on the eye though they were.

We did interrupt "Later" to hear my son's tune being included in DJ Slipmat's set on Radio 1, which was pretty cool!

Micah Paris did a fair version for David G at the Albert Hall too.

Martial Solal, recently turned 80 French pianist, is still full of energy and fresh approaches to familiar music.
Highly recommended.

I'm getting to really like these guys.
