Prokofiev: Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 1 in f minor, Op. 80
Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 2 in D major, Op. 94bis.
This recording was made in May of 1953 which also happens to be the same year in which Prokofiev died. The f minor sonata was played at his funeral and it is one of my favorite sonatas. The D major just happens to be too cheerful
