Now those are rather special aren't they, might have a listen later on. I think I prefer edition two slightly, but it's splitting hairs.

It's great music but I always find that these CD's have lots of hissy background noise. Is it just my copies?

...end seconded. Was really curious whether the (relatively unknown) Alboran Trio would be able to top their fantastic first one on ACT.

To my taste, they did.

It all depends on the timing. Nothing much coming up at the Opera House May or June.

Excellent follow up album to their successful debut. Leading European jazz sounding wonderfully atmospheric on my system. Recommended.

Bill Evans is special, indeed. re:hiss - believe I have noticed this when using the headphones. Possibly due to the concert being a fm broadcast and not knowing where in that chain the recording was made/taken. Don't hear the hiss on the system at low volume (like Sunday 3:30 am), probably drowned out, at my house, by the furnace fan and refrigerator. Winker

No argument from me there.

I must admit, I never noticed the hiss before, but it's definitely there.
