I have, munch - but it's not as good, IMHO. But still great though.

Munch,
Having finally tracked a copy of Clocktower Park via eBay after Amazon eventually gave up trying to get it (on order since Nov), I tend to agree with Mark, it is nowhere near as good as Tim's House.
Delighted to hear another album is on the way Mark, and I agree she is lovely having met her a couple of times at The Sage in Gateshead.
Regards
Nic

Stefan - yes it is still available - most of the ECM catalogue is. It is a good CD and one of the first CD's with Pat Metheny on it. ECM covers are so good and one of the reasons I keep buying the damm things (as well as a lot of very fine music).
I have to confess I played this one last night on the ipod/headphones as most of my CD's are still in crates from the recent move so I cannot read the booklet to see who took the photo.
Cheers
Adrian

Is this still available ? I'd buy it for the cover alone. SOOOO ECM, SOOOOOO seventies. Does it say who took the cover photo ? Harald Mante ? Or Christian Voigt ?
Uhm, erm, and the music ?quote:Originally posted by Lontano:

Stuart,
You should be dreaming now, not talking to me.
You must have such a magnificent music collection that does not allow you to abandon your sweet spot and go to bed...
How are you and how is life in the UK?
Not much new here. Long day at work though I was able to squeez a walk along the river just before sundown. Getting ready to sit down with a book and some quiet tunes.
Take care,
Haim

It is other people's music since it left me cold.

Sorry to hear that Haim (I like it a lot).
Nigel,
No need to be sorry. I cannot like everything and I am happy that you are enjoying the music.
Personally, Wheeler's first attempt to play with a classical ensemble was disappointing. I thought that there was less of playing together on this disc and more of taking turns. In other words; harmony lacking.
Regards,
Haim

How is he going down over there?
Excellent - similar to the acoustic side of John Mayer and vocally a lot like Howie Day. Just released in the States in April.
