It's a shame the sound reproduction quality is so poor because the music is excellent. This cd was (at the time) a bargain £2.99 from playdot so i guess you get what you pay for sometimes : )

Never been a big Neil Diamond fan but this album is just outstanding. Might have to look a little closer at his back catalogue - any recommendations?

I would start with this m8...cd or vinyl...Neil Diamond at his best imho.
Also, his other Rick Rubin album 12 songs is worth a punt.

Agree with the above, but also:
A great 3CD collection of early (60s/70s) Neil Diamond. It contains all of the classic hits, as well as some of his more schlock-horror moments (Jonathan Livingston Seagull, anyone?). Available on Amazon for a mere £15, and worth it for the track "Morningside" alone.
Regards
Nigel

Very good ECM release from 1978 - Mick Goodrick - In passing with John Surman, Eddie Gomez and Jack DeJohnette. A Pat Metheny style album. Currently out of print and I see someone on Amazon.com is trying to offer a secondhand one for $500. Maybe this is worth much more than I thought it was.![]()

Archie Bronson Outfit again.
Remind me of The Sound but also Psychedelia(of which I have no knowledge) and smatterings of Talking Heads but really that doesn't describe adequately this marvellous racket.
The beauty contest is now closed.
Listen to Cherry Lips Now I demand.
Well maybe pretty please then.
