Arrived today and just unpacked ...

Excellent George. I too will now be buying some back catalogue. Going to get the album with the "hip hip chin chin" track on having first heard it on Stephane Pompougnac's Hotel Costes series. For more samples of other great dance related stuff try this site I found:

Gets better the more I listen. I think this is better than the Day Trip CD itself

Now. Trying one of the live recordings from that tour. Brussles 1978 Leaves Vol.5.
It is OK, but I think this lineup with drums and flutes was a dead end.

It is very holy, (but don’t let that put you off), it’s actually very good music...
Sounds in many ways a bit like an Hispanic version of a Mozart Mass.
Superb reproduction, someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make this sound truly excellent : )
