Second go round. Enjoyable live album. Thought I'd try this before trying studio albums. Any recommendations on studio albums? Thx. Pat

An old closed thread, Nick Lees is sorely missed, a thorough knowledge of numerous artists, in this case, Mr. Buckley.

Also recommended in this genre is Eric Woods. His albums can be difficult to find, let me know if you don't have success. Eric worshipped Tim Buckley and knew Jeff.
Eric wrote a song dedicated to Tim and Jeff on his "Letters From The Earth" disc. I saw Eric perform it at an in-store in Pdx, feet curled over the stage edge, eyes closed, head tilted toward the ceiling. He had left this reality and was with Tim and Jeff during those moments - stunning to witness and hear.
Eric's three albums are "Letters From The Earth", "Illustrated Night" and "Don't Just Dance". His website is outdated.

Hey Jeff,
Wow, that performance sounds intense. Thanks for letting me know about Eric. I will see if I can get a hold of his albums.
Thanks again.

Lucy Kaplansky - ten year night

I was first attracted it to this album by the cover.
The musical content is a bit jazzy in a cluby sort of way (I think) and a nice recording.
I don't normally like either but somehow this is different.

The Prelude to the Dream Of Gerontius by Elgar in Boult's exemplary EMI issue.
I wanted something loud but good for a few minutes! It did not last and I turned it down a bit!!

Pat, would you recommend ? I have Goodbye/Hello and Happy/Sad, but if it is solo acoustic I might want to get that live disc.

Jeff - this is a great live album - I'd say it's a must for any (Tim) Buckley fan.
Regards
Nigel
