By now, I guess it would be fair for you to try and contact Chris and tell him directly of your appreciation, Haim.
Seriously - he is not a BIG name in Germany (and hence, internationally), so I believe he would value serious shoulder tapping.
Not joking, I like that disc very much, myself. (Funny: Get's played in the car, a lot...)
cheers

Excellent idea, Stefan.
I just wrote ACT and asked them for Beier address.
Do you contact a lot of musicians yourself?
The only one I wrote to was Tord Gustavsen and he was very gracious in his response.

Hello Pat,
I hope you’re as charmed by this as I am…
The first disc of Balivian Barogue by Florilegium has a very good reputation going by the amazon customer reviews, this is also part DVD, i haven’t seen or heard this yet but it’s on my wish list...
This Vol.2 is a delight! ; )

And Kylie just celebrated her 40th. Apparently, when Nick approached her to propose the Wild Rose duet, she wasn't really sure who he was or just how significant an artist he was. She soon learnt.

Call me a crazy and a daredevil but their was nothing, not even the thunderstorm going on last night while listening to this, that would/could make me shut down the stereo and delay this pleasure. Ha, it's only lightening.....

Such a fantastic piece of music. Is this the first recording of it?
Vaughan Williams said of it when he first heard it performed 'I'm not sure if I like it, but it is what I meant' (might not be exactly those words, but to that effect).

I've always liked his "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis".

Hi Haim,
Absolutely, I'm the backup pianist. The other backup pianist is Eusebius, of course (depending on our mood)
