I'm not sure Jamie, I was intrigued by this recording and bought it on spec.

Such a fantastic piece of music. Is this the first recording of it?

Vaughan Williams said of it when he first heard it performed 'I'm not sure if I like it, but it is what I meant' (might not be exactly those words, but to that effect).

"All I Intended To Be" Emmylou Harris.

On first listening right up there with my favourite Emmylou recordings.

I do gladly enjoy this album sometimes.
That's one of your good tips ROTF!
Here's mine: i think you should try something by Kris Delmhorst.
imho

Hi Gianluigi

I found some Kris Delmhorst tracks on the Interweb and was very impressed - definitely another singer/songwriter to investigate. Hadn't come across her before. Thanks.

Fleet Foxes : Really liking this EP - great sunshine music - anyone who likes CSN&Y should check this out. The LP is due out at the end of the week.

This is also a real grower - can't quite put my finger on what it reminds me of, some of it sound like Johnathon Richman playing Americana with the Cure as his backing band (!!). Polished sound, good melodies, this is a real interesting little album...
