Martha Argerich playing Shostakovich at the 2006 Lugano Festival.
There's nothing like a nice bit of Shostakovich.

quote:
"When they come to murder me" is a purely awesome song and the best track on here. great verse and strong chorus. this is the sort of simple feeling track that encourages you to write songs yourself, but then breaks your heart when you realise that this kind of quality is hard to match...
The quote is taken from an Amazon review but says all I want to say.

~ ORGAN WORKS ~
Acht Kleine Praeludien und Fugen, BWV553/560
Hans Fagius ~ The Mats Arvidsson Organ, Mariefred Sweden
[DDD] Recording @ 1986 'Brilliant classics'
Before anyone gets too excited; i haven't purchased the complete box set of 'Bach Edition', but just a few single CD's of organ works (and some harpsicord too) that were once part of someone's big box set. Not bad value for money at a pound each, the organ (and the harpsichord cd's) are quite well played and the quality although slightly bright is nothing to grumble about at the price : )
