I love it, a nice middle ground to Crossing Muddy Waters and Master Of Disaster. JH typically excellent songwriting with stellar guitar and mandolin work by Luther Dickinson. After three listens, it is like a well worn, comfortable pair of jeans. Just so right.
No on the dvd, cd only.
best regards

]Jeff,
Have you seen how much the price of this on vinyl is going up?
Hi Stuart,
Don't have a TT so don't follow the vinyl prices.
Great album - love the organ fills. Reminds me at times of Too Long In Exile, the great bluesy album he did with John Lee Hooker.
best,
Jeff A

Hi Haim, and thanks for the recommendations. I ordered Jaded Angels, and will certainly get Pasodoble sometime, having borrowed it from the library a few weeks ago. Who is "Between the Times" by? Google is drawing a blank.
Cheers

Told myself I did not want it. Thought it sounded very average on their MySpace site but for some reason still bought it. Have played it in the car and am actually quite enjoying it.

Walcha playing Bach's Art of Fugue (on the organ).
I recently put together a classical sampler for someone which included this and it was one of the things they liked especially, which prompted me to think that I hadn't listened in a while. So it's now playing on my ipod as I type this on my macbook as the train heads towards the Aldeburgh festival. Ah, the wonders of modern technology.
regards, Tam
