Not as good as 'Groove Merchant' but still a great hard bop album from 1983 by this great British jazz band.

I also got 'Googa Mooga' 1990 live album by Tommy Chase, but changing from piano to hammond organ destroyed the band for me, turgid.

For anyone into hard bop, Art Blakey, etc. Tommy Chase is well worth giving a try, but do track down 'Groove Merchant' if you can.

(As I mentioned above) Tommy Chase Quartet 'Groove Merchant' Stiff 1988
Had to give this a quick play. Just brilliant.

Very interesting mix of instruments and approaches to the music. I really like "It's About That Time" and "So What"

P.S. Still in shock over the death of Esbjorn Svensson
