I bought 10 or so s/h ECM cd's. Not a bad idea judging by these two

Hybrid SACD
Recommendation on the disc: To be played at maximum volume

Hey, this is very, very good! Released yesterday and bought today. Eliza is obviously breaking through into the mainstream as she is no longer filed under "Folk" now but the "Rock/Pop" section at Zavvi, Northampton!
Incidentally, had a good chat again with the staff there ; they are making an effort to become more diverse musically but it is apparently a bit of a battle with Head Office. They want to reintroduce vinyl - particulary 7" singles and are doing some live instores and have a section for promoting local bands which all seems quite commendable.

Not really my kind of music but the Steve Hoffman treatment makes for good listening.

What is this album?
Munch
Munch,
its John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band - Live Peace in Toronto, from 1969. The sound quality is amazing and you have some great R'n'R.
1. Blue Suede Shoes
2. Money
3. Dizzy Miss Lizzy
4. Yer Blues
5. Cold Turkey
6. Give Peace a Chance
7. Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking for Her Hand in the Snow) I
8. John John (Let's Hope for Peace)
The first 6 tracks are sung by John Lennon and are fantastic. The last 2 tracks are only for hard core Yoko fans - I can't stand them.

Cheers ... Oliver

I'm with you on that, she ruined a good writer/ composer and possibly a group, in my view.
