Gotta second this one - it's the standard Stones compilation now. Brilliant song selection and it's well-mastered to boot!

Of course, Caravan were a superb group. The second and third albums were even more brilliant IMHO. Richard Sinclair is a great vocalist (though IIRC Pye Hastings does most of the singing on the debut album)and brother Dave Sinclair has a unique keyboard style that produces a sound only he and Michael Ratledge (Soft Machine) seem to be able to get from their organs. Always liked Caravan.

Meanwhile listening to and enjoying some BJH - Barclay James Harvest from Baby James Harvest.

Must have been Haim, who recommended this one ?

Stefan,

Isn't that great music? This and 'Meeting by the River' (Cooder & Bhatt) are my favorite Water Lily discs.
