Absolute quality 4LP package delivered from Caiman in 7 days. I shall order LP's from them in the future with confidence after this. The Raconteurs (3LP) - Consolers Of The Lonely will be next.

First play last night with some of the 'Trio' and 'Band' sets. Zero surface noise and low recording level, requiring the volume to go past 12 to extract the music. A lot of time to absorb this unique gig with hours of pleasure ahead.

BTW, this comes with a free album download for a digital copy and valid until 06/25/2009.

As good as the John Mayer release is, it doesn't hold a candle Winker to the Lightbulb Sun - limited edition vinyl from Tone Float. My copy is 201/1000 and I couldn't wait to play 'Buying New Soul' as the first track. If ever an LP was made to test the dynamics of your system, then this is it. From the acoustic, strings, harmonies thru to thrilling rock out guitar(shesmovedon), years of pleasure are ahead. A wonderful tribute to Mike Piper (Gates of Dawn label) by Charles from tonefloat is inside and his preparation for this release is a fitting legacy.

Enjoy

The digital download code that came with my vinyl copy of WTLI from Caiman (USA) doesn't work outside the US. It matters not though because I also bought a USA copy on CD.

Bazz, it was a great concert with some outstanding musicians supporting him in just about the right setting (The Studio at the Opera House). Posted in the concert thread a few words.

Cheers and ... Oliver
