Working my way through 50 years of Harmonia Mundi, an outrageous bargain at 30 quid. Currently, Purcell's King Arthur. 29 CDs + a CD-ROM with all the texts!

Jeff,
I never heard Hersch's trio. I have only solo works and a duo from him. Would you recommend this disc?
Regards,
Haim

Hi Haim, I would recommend it, the playing is wonderful and the compositions ( I believe only one by Hersch, on this release) are stellar. All in Chesky sound.

Bought yesterday, and already sounding like a winner.
This is one of the best of my many purchases this year. A new classic ECM album that deserves far wider attention.

had a rather blissed out Sunday courtesy of Mssrs Cope, Pierce and Kember...
(oh, and anyone tempted to pick up the special edition of Jehovakill, forget it, it's ruined by atrocious remastering - get the original bluebox CD or Vinyl if you can)

Thanks Jeff,
It has been sometime since I got any new music. I might as well start here with Hersch's trio.
Enjoy the rest of Sunday (and you have more of it left than I do),
Haim
