Sometime over the mid 90's, a friend lent me this 2-cd album, and at this time i recorded it from my CDS player to nakamichi on a TDK SA90 of which i recently found and playing now.
Fasinating music, and my tape recording is actually very good, but i've just ordered the double cd from playdot too... must be feeling guilty about infringing the copyright : >

This is a very good 'composite' type album, with good example tracks from Alia Vox albums, this cd is also the least expensive Alia Vox.
It holds up very well as an album in it's own right but is an excellent introduction of Alia Vox music ...you can use it to hear which pieces you like and then buy the complete albums.
I've been very impressed with the musicianship they use, the classy packaging, and the super reproductive qualities of the discs.

Have I mentioned before that I think Darren Hayman is a genius?

Andrew King - "The Harbinger of the Decaying Mind"
I got this after hearing his version of "Dives and Lazarus" on the John Barleycorn Reborn compilation.
It's a dark medieval/folk kind of thing
