I don't have the 1st pressing so will be curious to hear back from you. Smile

After listening to the first disc of the P58P I can understand why people say it is the best version.

Dynamic, open/see through, wonderful full bass, clean clear treble. The cymbals at the start of Les Brers are so detailed.

There is a floaty dreaming quality to the guitar lines especially on Melissa.

It's is now the best version I have heard though the MFSL ain't no slouch either.

However I am sure if you are thinking about getting a copy that you know it ain't cheap.

Continuing in the Dan vein with this fantastic CD of covers. Took me a while to get into this one but now it is one of my regular favorites.

I have never seen this one before - will have to check it out. Smile

Yes its rather wonderful - a copy arrived through my letterbox one day from an unknown source Big Grin

Later found out I had won it in a competition I had no recollection of entering Roll Eyes
