A bit of a marathon session with one of the five a side lads who came round to check out my system with a selection of his discs. He had chosen a number of his favourite reference tracks. These included:

The Isley Brothers - The T-Neck years

Aha - Scoundrel Days

Yes - Yestory

Chicago - The Very Best of

The Doobie Brothers - The Captain & Me

Peddlers - Suite London

Elvis Costello -When I was cruel

10 CC - The Original Soundtrack

Santana - Abraxas

Steely Dan - Aja

Great session. He enjoyed listening to his own music, and hearing things that he had never heard on his own system. I really enjoyed listening to his selections.

Regards

Nic

Fantastic collection of Shirley and Dolly's music IMHO - hope you enjoyed it.

Ten years ago I would have hated it! Now I find it strangely, and intensely moving. Timeless music indeed!

Back on the jazz now...
